When filling out your ABN application, you’ll be asked a few questions about your business activities. It’s important to understand that as an independent support worker with mobility, you are engaging in activities that are consistent with running a business. Here’s why:
- Advertising Your Services: By creating and maintaining your profile on the mobility platform, you’re advertising your services to potential clients.
- Registration with an Organisation: Joining mobility as a worker means you’ve registered with an organisation to offer your independent support services.
When the form asks if you’re doing business-like activities, you can tick “Yes” because of these reasons.
After selecting “Next“, you’ll be taken to a screen to review your answers before proceeding to the application detail section. It’s important to understand that they’re asking for information about your ABN and TFN history and not for mobility’s.
