What are Ongoing Bookings?
Ongoing bookings are regular, or repeating shifts with a worker. These can be daily, weekly, or monthly and are ideal for people who need consistent support.
Requesting an Ongoing Shift
Follow these steps to request an ongoing shift:
- Navigate to the Home Tab: Open the mobility app and tap on the + icon at the bottom right of your screen.
- Add a Team Member Shift: Select the Add a team member button to book an ongoing shift with a worker who’s on your team list. Learn more about teams
- Select the Care and Support Type: Choose the type of service you need. If you are an NDIS participant, you’ll also need to select the support category.
- Enter Shift Details: Enter the start date, shift start time, and end time.
- Set the Frequency: Choose how often you need this shift
- Set the End Date: Indicate when you want the ongoing shift to end.
- Confirm the Address: Ensure the service address is correct, then tap the ‘Next’ button.
- Select the Worker: Confirm the worker from the teams list.
- Add Shift Details: Add a shift title and any notes for the worker.
- Upload Documents: Upload any relevant documents such as care plans, home risk assessments, etc.
- Review and Accept the Service Agreement: Carefully review the service agreement and accept it.
- Review Funding Method: Ensure the funding method is correct.
- Request the Shift: Tap the ‘Request Shift’ button.
Managing Your Ongoing Bookings
View and Edit Shift Requests:
- Navigate to the Home page to view and manage your shift requests.
- To edit or cancel a shift request, select the shift from the upcoming activities on the Home page and follow the prompts to make the necessary changes.
Uploading Documents:
- When requesting a shift, you can upload relevant documents such as care plans or home risk assessments. To do this, tap the upload button and select the documents from your device.
